Help on search
- Enter a word or a combination of words in any of the fields
- As a wild card use the asterisk ( * ) at the end of words or phrases (e.g. protected area* = protected areas, protected area management, etc.)
- For Boolean searches use &, /, ! for and, or, not respectively
- In the "Year" field, use "<" or ">" (‘<’ = ‘before’, ‘>’ = ‘after’) with a specific year to search before or after a particular year
- Use a colon ( : ) to search a range of years between two specific dates (e.g. 1948:1950 will search for all documents published from 1948 through 1950 inclusive)
For all searches: it is often easiest to make the first search more restrictive
by using more search terms rather than fewer. If this does not give the desired result,
remove one or more search items and repeat the search.
